Incredibly creamy and easy to make; Ice cream maker not required.

Each recipe makes 1 ½ quarts and can be easily doubled.

Vanilla

  • 2 cups Heavy Cream (lmited ingredients; we buy quarts at BJs and Aldi)

  • 1 14 oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk

  • 2 ½ teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract

  1. Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl. If your kitchen is warm, you can chill the mixing bowl in the freezer for about a minute.

  2. Whisk the ingredients together until fully combined.

  3. Mix on medium-high speed until the mixture thickens, becomes fluffy, and soft peaks form.

  4. Use a spatula to transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze.

The ice cream will fully harden within 6 to 8 hours. Can’t wait that long? Feel free to dig in! After 3-4 hours it will have a soft-serve ice cream texture. Use this as a base for another flavor. Add ½ cup of mixins like crushed oreo cookies, candied pecans, crushed pistachios, or chocolate chips. For mint chip, use 2 tsp real peppermint extract in place of the vanilla and add ½ cup of Guittard brand Semisweet Baking Chips or their Super Cookie Chips.

Chocolate

  • 1 14 oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk

  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract

  • ¼ cup Cocoa Powder (we use the one from Aldi)

We actually love chocolate mint oreo cookie ice cream! Use two teaspoons of real peppermint extract instead of the vanilla extract and add ½ cup of crushed Oreo cookies.
