Common physical symptoms of the fight-or-flight response may include thirst, brain fog, difficulty concentrating, pain, stiffness, heartburn, nasal congestion, throat clearing, coughing, and changes in breathing and bowel habits.
On a mental level, we might experience anxiety, impatience, frustration, overthinking, negativity, and defensiveness.

How does it work?
For 14 days, eat only the food listed in Phase 1. After this period, you can introduce foods from Phase 2, but be attentive to how your body responds.
If you notice an increase in stress or inflammation, it may take a day or two for the effects to show, but the signs will be evident. If a particular food causes discomfort, remove it from your diet until you feel better and your nervous system rebalances.

Everyone should strive to limit the "NO" foods as much as possible—aim for 90 to 100% of the time.
We understand that it may not always be feasible, but this should be your goal. If you find yourself at an event where you cannot control your choices, do your best in that situation.
Afterward, make sure to return to Phase 1 to help rebalance.
